Originally scheduled for August of 2020, this informative and dynamic conference has changed dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic (with the new Jan. 15-16, 2021 schedule subject to further change). Led by experts in interventional radiology and trauma surgery, this multidisciplinary meeting will promote the efficient management of the trauma patient, with all major topics in the global treatment of the trauma patient being presented by experts in the field. The meeting will also present attendees with the opportunity to earn up to 50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
The meeting will highlight the important partnership of interventional radiology and trauma surgery — bringing internationally-recognized leaders together to present a multi-faceted care approach for one of the most challenging patients: the critically-ill acute trauma patient. Much of the program will address current endovascular and interventional techniques and state-of-the-art equipment used to perform life-saving procedures by both interventional radiologists and trauma surgeons. Endovascular therapies of focus will include embolization, balloon occlusion, stent and stent-graft placement and other downstream interventions.
